WPC has invited some of the world’s most renowned fragrance creators to share their knowledge and insight with fellow perfumers. Master Perfumer workshops are exclusive to attendees who are registered and approved as perfumer only.

WPC Art Installation

Taking inspiration from WPC’s theme, A Sense of What’s Next, each artist will present their unique take on olfactory art, using a range of materials and scents. Each artwork will use visitors’ senses to tell a unique story. The installation will be on display in the Expo Hall.

New program : Technical assistant in fragrance, flavor & cosmetic

We’re so happy to announce,  for 2019, the creation of a new long course, with a true diploma, entitled “Technical Assistant in Fragrance, Flavor & Cosmetic“.

The aim of this course is to train Technical Assistant with abilities in 3 fields : fragrances, flavours and cosmetics. Note that the entrance level is lower than the “student perfumer” course.

The course is designed for people wanting to work in laboratories (preparation of formula, application on support, chemical analysis) or production plants of the FFC industries (for companies like L’Oreal, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Givaudan, Firmenich, IFF, Symrise, Takasago, Mane, Robertet…).

The course has been delivered in French for many years and has allowed hundreds of people to enter in the FFC industry. It is now opened in English for an international public.

Dans le cadre du 20ème anniversaire du Concours de Nez – Journées du Parfum, le Rotary Club de Grasse organise le samedi 14 avril 2018, un dîner de gala autour de parfumeurs à la Bastide Saint-Antoine à Grasse sur le thème :

« 20 Ans – 20 Tables – 20 Parfumeurs »

en souhaitant pouvoir associer un parfumeur à chaque table.

Le thème des « Cinq Sens » choisi pour la 20ème édition de notre action phare, sera sublimé par les cinq plats préparés par Jacques CHIBOIS à l’occasion de ce dîner exceptionnel.

Louis Vuitton, Dior et Audi France ont déjà réservé leur table et François DEMACHY, Jean-Claude ELLENA, Fabrice PELLEGRIN et Jacques CAVALLIER-BELLETRUD ont annoncé leur participation.

Deux possibilités de participation :

  • au titre d’une entreprise, en réservant tout ou partie d’une table de 10 personnes au prix de 120 euros par personne, permettant ainsi d’inviter de bons clients ou de récompenser certains collaborateurs ;
  • à titre personnel, en réservant une ou plusieurs places ; la participation par personne étant de 120 euros.

Sur le prix de la participation de 120 euros par personne, 20 euros seront attribués à l’action de mécénat en faveur d’un élément du patrimoine de la parfumerie grassoise, choisie cette année par le Rotary Club de Grasse comme bénéficiaire des 20èmes Journées du Parfum-Concours de Nez.

The good news is that there are still some free spots for the June and July sessions of the “Scent of Provence” training course, whose contents are similar to “Fragrance Summer School” but in a shorter way.

We also propose a brand new training, entitled ” Taste & Smell : playing on your senses “, to discover in a different way, the perfumer work, mixing olfaction, tasting of aromatic products (wine, tea, chocolate) and creation.
