Grasse, the birthplace of the world’s perfume industry, remains an essential focus of the international market of aromatic products. More than 70 companies producing raw materials, flavours and fragrances employ almost 5000 workers. These firms generate over 50% of the French turnover of flavors and fragrances and nearly 6 % of the world’s turnover.
With 30 years of training experience in the aromatic field, ASFO-GRASSE created the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in February 2002.
The Grasse Institute of Perfumery is located five minutes from the historical town centre in a early 20th century provencal style house. The ambiance is both warm and professional. Lessons are held in a large laboratory equipped with a perfumer’s organ. The Institute hosts a collection of more than 800 natural and synthetic raw materials.
Our lectures are all experienced perfumers or technicians from prestigious companies such as Givaudan, IFF, Mane, Robertet, Charabot...
