Taiwan courses

HOS Fragrance Group is a taiwanese brand founded in 2008 by perfumer Vic Ho, aiming to build Taiwanese high quality fragrances, to share perfumery culture.

HOS Fragrance Group, as the official representative of Grasse Institute of Perfumery in Taiwan, will officially launch jointly a series of training with Grasse Institute of Perfumery in the second half of 2021.

Course Outline

Level 1—-Learn history of perfume and basic knowledge

/To acquire perfumery history background knowledge.

/To acquire technical terms and master the language of perfumery in order to help improve communication efficiency.

/To study raw materials according to different themes: Citrus Family, Aromatic Family, Floral Family…

/To learn classic Cologne formula by creation. With the theme of cologne, do a Perfumery Design Project from brief to realization and give a short presentation as work show.

/To invite guests lecturer to share the marketing knowledge of perfumes from idea to practice.

Level 2—-Deepen perfumery olfactive family and creation

/To deepen the study of olfactive family by classification of raw materials and synthetic materials, e.g. Rosy Family, Jasmine Family, Other Flowers and Woody Family…….

/To write basic accord training, e.g.Jasmine, Rose and Carnation……

/To learn how to create scent, to study perfume masterpieces.

/To do a Perfumery Design Project with the theme of Floral Note from brief to realization, and give a short presentation as work shows.

/To invite guest lecturer to share the marketing or research knowledge of perfumery industry .

Level 3—-The course will take place in Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France. This course is reserved to students who have followed level 1 and level 2 course in Taipei.

/To visit professional factories and laboratories.

/To communicate with experienced French perfumery teachers and learn from them.

/Flower field visiting… etc.

This series of training is designed specifically for those who are passionate about the beauty of perfumery world, willing to go further in the industry.

Organization:

Level 1 and 2 last for 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday), 8 hours per day. The training fees are directly paid  to Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France. After confirming your entry, we will send you the address.

The training will take place in the HOS Fragrance premises in Taipei with deep cultural link.

The Level 1 is planned in November 2021, 20, 21, 27, 28.
The Level 2 is planned in December 2021, 11, 12, 18, 19.

Level 3
The course will take place in Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France. This course is reserved to students who have followed level 1 and level 2 course in Taipei. It lasts 5 days from Monday to Friday.

Vic Ho創香工坊，由獨立調香師Vic Ho 於台灣創立，HOS集團自2008年起與歐洲香精原廠合作，專注於提供各大化妝品廠、藥廠等香氛設計客製化服務。

創辦人何宗禧創香師，畢業於法國格拉斯香水學院。同時結合教育訓練，在各大專院校、社團組織等開設上百場課程，致力於打造屬於台灣的高品質香水香氛作品，分享香水文化與體驗。

HOS集團Vic Ho 創香工坊作為法國格拉斯香水學院(GIP)台灣區的官方代表，於2021年下半年起，正式開展與格拉斯香水學院的聯合系列培訓課程。協助學員取得國際級的資格認證與專業訓練。

課程大綱

階段一：學習香水歷史和相關基礎知識

/香水歷史背景知識

/香水專業術語學習

/按不同主題進行香水原料學習：柑橘家族、青草家族、花香家族……

/經典古龍水配方和創作，以古龍為主題進行香水調配實踐及作品彙報

/香水市場相關人員分享，從創意到創作的演練

階段二：學習香料家譜和香氣的創造

/深入學習天然原料和合成原料的家譜及分類：玫瑰家族、茉莉及其他花香家族、木質家族……

/編寫基本和絃的訓練：茉莉花，玫瑰，康乃馨……

/學習如何創香、進行傑出香水的討論與評估

/以花香調為主題進行香水調配實踐及作品彙報

/香水市場相關人員分享，從創意到創作的演練

階段三：飛往法國格拉斯香水學院(GIP)進行深度交流學習

/參觀專業調香實驗室和工廠

/與法國調香老師交流學習

本系列培訓專為熱愛香水世界之美，願意在行業中走得更遠的人而設計。

Level 1課程和 Level 2課程持續 2 個週末（週六和周日），每天 8 小時。
培訓費用直接支付給法國格拉斯香水學院。

課程將在臺北市中心，集人文、科技和時尚底蘊於一身的
#東區暖男旗艦實驗室 penshugenxvicho 進行。
第一階段將計畫在2021年11月正式開始。

Level 3 課程將在法國格拉斯香水學院進行。
本課程專供在臺北修讀過Level 1 ,Level 2 課程的學生優先。
預計於隔年的中秋連假，從週一到週五持續5天。
