Aromatherapy and herbal medicine : exploration and use of plant raw materials


The objective of this training course is to master the origins of plants used in aromatherapy and traditional medicine, but also to understand how to make usable extracts and how to formulate some applications. Much of it is devoted to practical applications (analysis, extraction, formulation…).

The course is led by Dr Francis HADJI-MINAGLOU, ethnobotanist, pharmacologist and pharmacognosy expert. Dr HADJI is the founder of the company Botanicert, expert laboratory in the plant field.

The working language is English. The number of participants is limited to 10.

About us

Created in 2002 by Prodarom, the French Association of Fragrance Manufacturers, the aim of our perfumery school is to train student perfumers. We welcome you to our establishment situated in a Provençal style house built in the early 20th Century, five minutes from the historical town centreof Grasse.

In addition to the training of student perfumer, GIP also offers seminars, workshops and summer internships to explore the world of fragrance for lovers of the enchanting world of fragrances.
