DAY 1 / Introduction of Chinese raw materials used in perfumery and French flowers

Important day for understanding to know the level of each in order to have good time together.

We will speak about raw materials (comparison of different origin / formulation / accords and trends.

DAY 2 / Osmanthus formulation seminar

Smelling session of osmanthus abs / compounds / perfumes.

Pratical work around osmanthus: How we can play with osmanthus.

+ Special activity : Osmanthus garden tour with Chinese Osmanthus product (snacks, food, and tea etc..)

DAY 3 / TEA seminar

Smelling session of different kind of tea (green / black…) impact of them in fragrances.

Olfactive tour in the perfumes market with tea inside.

Practical work around tea. + TEA experience : We invited Tea master to come to our seminar room,and serve us traditional Chinese tea.

And we visit tea production in Hang-Zhou.(30min drive from Seminar room)

DAY 4 / Day around the chypre accord

Evolution of this accord in perfumery and creation on contemporary chypre accord.

DAY 5 / Formulation and creation day

Practical class around osmanthus and tea.

Smelling session on perfume in the market with these 2 products.

We will work on a fragrance combining these 2 beautiful raw materials.

About us

Created in 2002 by Prodarom, the French Association of Fragrance Manufacturers, the aim of our perfumery school is to train student perfumers. We welcome you to our establishment situated in a Provençal style house built in the early 20th Century, five minutes from the historical town centreof Grasse.

In addition to the training of student perfumer, GIP also offers seminars, workshops and summer internships to explore the world of fragrance for lovers of the enchanting world of fragrances.
