Few days ago, our students had the opportunity to visit the “Bastide aux Violettes” museum at Tourrettes-sur-loup.

In this town, the Violet production is the main agricultural activity. Today, this is the Victoria variety is cultivated. This winter flower can be identified by a simple petalled, her delicate perfume, standing on a long peduncle of around 25cm.

During this day, our students also went to meet a local producer. This allowed them to see, touch and smell the raw materials which is an integral part of the perfumer/evaluator training program.

It was an enriching day for our students!
