PRESENTATION
GIP /ASFO Grasse is a professional training center situated at 48, avenue Riou Blanquet – BP 21017 – 06131 Grasse Cedex (France). GIP /ASFO GRASSE develops and offers international training courses.
OBJECT
The General Sales Conditions (GSC) apply to all GIP / ASFO GRASSE training courses, products and services contracted with individual or professional customers (hereinafter ” The customer”).
The Customer must have full legal capacity and be of legal age.
When the Customer orders a training course on our site and checks the box “I have read and I agree to the general terms of sale”, he /she declares having previously read the GSCs and accepted them without restriction.
ASFO maintains the right to modify the GCSs at any time by publishing a new version on site.
REGISTRATION AND CUSTOMER ORDERS
SHORT SESSIONS
This section describes short session training courses offered on the web site.
Registration or placing of an order constitutes the customer’s binding contractual offer to attend the training course that has been ordered.
Student places are limited; they are allocated in order of registration.
The customer is required to check on receipt of confirmation that all details of the order are correct.
Financial conditions
All prices include the statutory rate of value added tax.
Any course or module started is due in full.
Lunches are included in the price of the course.
Replacement of a participant
GIP /ASFO GRASSE offers the possibility to replace one trainee with another as long as they have the same profile and training needs.
Insufficient number of participants in a session.
GIP /ASFO GRASSE is entitled to cancel a workshop for organizational reasons if the minimum number of participants hasn’t been reached. In case of cancellation, the customer will always be informed at least 30 days before the beginning of the training course. The customer will not receive any compensation in case of cancellation by ASFO/GIP, but the deposit will be refund in full.
PRIVATE COURSES
This section describes the taylor-made training courses delivered by GIP /ASFO GRASSE.
Financial conditions
All private courses are previously subjected to a quotation.
Customers must confirm their participation on any private course in writing. The confirmation must refer to the signed quotation.
If the customer accepts the quotation, they must pay the deposit to confirm their order/registration.
OLFACTIVE KIT
This section describes olfactive kits delivered by GIP /ASFO GRASSE.
Any olfactive kit order must be previously agreed by Asfo’s sales service.
Financial conditions
The price includes the value of the goods only. Any additional costs such as transport and delivery costs to national or international territories and any other costs incurred independently of the manufacture of the goods shall be borne by the buyer and invoiced in addition by GIP/ASFO GRASSE.
Any olfactive kit must be paid for in full before expedition.
INVOICING – REGULATION
Price
All prices are in euros and include all taxes. Any taxes, customs or import duties as well as bank charges will be charged to the customer.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, payments will be made under the following conditions:
– a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the training courses will be paid by the customer at the time of registration; no booking can be considered as valid without payment of the deposit.
– the balance of the training course will be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the training course; If the payment isn’t made on time the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will not be refund.
– payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer;
– no discount will be given if you pay before the due date.
GENERAL CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Contract documents
A certificate of participation is given or sent at the end of the course. A certificate of attendance for each part of the course can be supplied on request.
Certificates may not be altered by the customer.
Changes to the courses
ASFO/GIP reserves the right to change to the content, the site and the teachers of the courses.
Cancellation of training session by the customer
Cancellations must be made in writing, by letter or email.
In case of a cancellation by the customer of a planned training session, cancellation charges will be applied
– postponement or cancellation sent at least 45 days prior to the session: 15% of the total cost of the training course will be charged to the customer.
– postponement or cancellation received at least 30 days prior to the start of the training courses will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of total cost of the training course.
– postponement or cancellation less than 30 days prior to the start of the training course, the full rate will be charged.
If the customer has booked several training courses the fees for a partial cancellation will be made pro rata, based on the total price.
FORCE MAJEURE
GIP /ASFO GRASSE shall not be liable or considered to be in breach or default of its contractual obligations, to the extent that conformity of such obligations is delayed or prevented, directly or indirectly, due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, act of governmental authorities (no visa…), fires, severe weather conditions, earthquakes, strikes or other labor disturbances, floods, risk of kidnapping, war, armed conflict, acts or threats of terrorism, epidemics, civil unrest, riot, delays of transportation or car shortages, or acts of other costumers.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
GIP /ASFO GRASSE is the holder of the intellectual property rights of all the training courses.
The customer receives extensive documents in connection with the seminars. All right to these documents or parts thereof remain with GIP/ ASFO GRASSE or the relevant author.
Documents must not be copied or published without the prior written permission of GIP/ASFO GRASSE
All of the content and materials in any form (paper, electronic, digital, oral…) used by GIP /ASFO GRASSE in the training courses, remain the exclusive property of GIP /ASFO GRASSE.
The customer is forbidden to use the contents of the training courses to train persons other than their own staff.
COMMUNICATION AND GENERAL PROVISIONS
Communication
The customer agrees to be cited by GIP /ASFO GRASSE as a customer. GIP /ASFO GRASSE can mention the name of the customer as well as a description of the nature or the object of the training course in its lists of referees or in all its documents.
Claims

Governing Law
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the contract, including any questions regarding its existence or validity shall be referred to and resolved by French law.
The competent courts in case of dispute are the ones in Grasse.
DATA PROTECTION
Data relating to customers is processed electronically and only used for internal purposes.
