Tokyo courses
Our Tokyo branch opened in 2026, offering the first structured, level-based professional perfumery programme in Japan. Taught entirely in Japanese, GIP Tokyo brings French savoir-faire to students seeking practical and theoretical knowledge. Courses are open to both local and international students.
Course details:
Levels are taught by Japanese Master Perfumer Kenji Maruyama and GIP Graduate and Co-founder Natalia Nyaradi, conducted in Japanese. Discovery Course and Levels 1, 2, and 3 take place in Tokyo, while Level 4 is held in Grasse. Each group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
Perfumery Course Programme:
GIP Tokyo offers two programmes. The Discovery Course is a two-day introduction to the craft: the history of perfumery, raw material study, and a first accord creation, with no prior experience required. The four-level Technical Perfumery Programme builds from foundation through to advanced composition, covering over 200 raw materials, classic formulas from Cologne to Chypre, fragrance development for commercial applications, and a Perfumery Design Project at every level. The programme concludes with Level 4 at GIP’s campus in Grasse, France.

フランス・グラース発の香水教育機関【Grasse Institute of Perfumery】の東京校『GIP Tokyo』は、2026年に開校しました。日本初の体系的・段階的なプロフェッショナル調香プログラムを、すべて日本語で提供しています。本場フランスの “savoir-faire” を受け継ぎ、理論と実践の両面から香りの世界を深く学ぶことができます。国内外を問わず、幅広い方のご参加をお待ちしています。
コース詳細
講師は、日本人マスターパフューマーの丸山賢次と、【Grasse Institute of Perfumery】卒業生であり共同創設者のニャーラーディ・ナタリアが務め、授業はすべて日本語で行います。ディスカバリーコースおよびLevel 1〜3は東京で、Level 4はグラースで実施されます。各コースの定員は最大12名です。
プログラム概要
『GIP Tokyo』では、2つのプログラムを提供しています。ディスカバリーコースは2日間の入門コースで、調香の歴史、香料素材の研究、そして初めての “accord” 創作を体験できます。事前の経験は必要ありません。4段階の調香技術専門課程は、基礎から高度な構成まで段階的に学ぶプログラムです。200種以上の香料素材、”Cologne” から “Chypre” に至るクラシックフォーミュラ、商業的応用を視野に入れた処方開発、そして各レベルのパフューマリー・デザインプロジェクトを通じて、調香の実践的な技術を養います。プログラムの最終段階であるLevel 4は、フランス・グラースの【Grasse Institute of Perfumery】本校で実施されます。
